Oh my. You're definitely chatting up my alley! I get decent deals at Walgreens - lots of rebates which is always fabulous. But I like CVS even more because I see the savings immediately. Once I had over $100 worth of products there and after ecb's (which are there coupons that print out on the receipt) and regular coupons I spent about $5 :)

Yeah things like that. You rip that part off and it's like a coupon. You need to have your CVS card present to use them though. And you can combine them with other coupons.

Okay, when i shop at CVS i use my Extra Care card. I all the time get coupons on my receipts, sometimes 3 or 4 of them. They'll be like 4 dollars off of your next 20.00 purchase. Or sometimes you actually get a free dollar off of any purchase, but my store doesn't do a lot of Extra Care Bucks, mostly coupons. Sometimes i'll get really good ones. You can get 10 dollars off a 50 dollar purchase, but you have to be buying a lot to make that coupon work. Cold medicines and stuff usually. Sometimes it'll just be 2 dollars off a 10 dollar purchase or something. I used one of the 4 dollars off a 20 dollar purchase a while back when i went in and bought myself some new makeup. I'm doing the bare minerals thing now and i got some foundation powder, some new eyeshadow, and stuff like that.

Some coupons are more along the lines of 'Buy this or that and get this free!' Some are on specific products, like if you buy CVS brand cold medicine, you can get some free or something. I don't get to use all my coupons but i use a good share here and there when i have money to shop there.

I saw some ladies in Walgreens the other day and they had this huge book full of coupons and stuff along with the sale paper and a buggie full of stuff...I heard them saying stuff about how the hole thing was gonna only cost them a few bucks. I wish I could make it work (although I haven't look real close at it) but I hardly ever shop there...maybe I should.

RR = Register Rewards. ECB = Extra Care Bucks. You can earn these by buying the things that will earn you them in that week. Combine a special that will earn you some with a coupon and you can potentially save a lot of money.
